BINDING UP THE BROKEN HEARTED

W.W.J.D.?

O thou afflicted, tossed with tempest, and not comforted, behold, I will lay thy stones with fair colours, and lay thy foundations with sapphires.
And I will make thy windows of agates, and thy gates of carbuncles, and all thy borders of pleasant stones.
And all thy children shall be taught of the Lord; and great shall be the peace of thy children.
In righteousness shalt thou be established: thou shalt be far from oppression; for thou shalt not fear: and from terror; for it shall not come near thee.
Behold, they shall surely gather together, but not by me: whosoever shall gather together against thee shall fall for thy sake.

(Isa. 54:11-15, KJV)

W.W.J.D.?

Suppose, you had 2 grandsons, and one of them went mad and murdered his brother.  What would you do?  Perhaps, rebuke the wicked grandson.   Well, punish him, of course.  But, certainly, not to kill him.  I hope.
Now, what can you do with the parents' grief?  How to comfort your children?   They had two boys, and now it seems that they lost them both.  What would YOU answer on your kids' cry:
- Father, how could you allow Abel to be killed?  How could you allow Cain to go mad?

"The righteous perish, and no-one ponders it in his heart; devout men are taken away, and no-one understands that the righteous are taken away to be spared from evil."
(Isa.57:1)

First and foremost.  Concerning the victims of September 11th, I strongly believe, that all of them suffered innocently.  God DID NOT punish America.  If you somehow feel He did, please, change your attitude.

Our life is not black-and-white, as many people tend to think.  Yet, from time to time it requires some either-or decisions.  If we feel that we lost our direction, it is the proper time to stop and think.  Life is moving, but moving without direction leads nowhere.  In order to survive, certain decisions should be taken.
The problem is, that Cain still hates his brother Abel.  Cain died long-long ago, but his mentality is still in action.  Cain or Abel?  Whose position is yours?   Would you prefer to raise accusation, as Cain did?  Or to stand with the innocent Abel?  Satan accuses.  Jesus stands for Abel.  This, I know for sure.  Please, make your choice:

"My punishment is more than I can bear." (Gen.4:13)  "By faith Abel offered God a better sacrifice than Cain did." (Hebr.11:4)
